Located at the very entrance of old town of Dubrovnik in the Church of St Claire, this programme will take its visitors on an exciting journey through the vast history and culture of Dubrovnik and Croatia with the help of the most recent 5D and Virtual Reality technology.
Before the museum visitors start their adventure of discovering Dubrovnik and Croatian history, they will be offered to leave their trace in a virtual creation called WORLD NETWORK™. The goal of this creation is to show that peace, and respect and acceptance of differences are a part of us all. As a part of this creation, visitors will be leaving a photo of the outer side of their palm, their name and country of origin, as well as choose messages of peace, understanding and tolerance. This network is planned to be nominated for the Guinness Book of World Records as the Creation with the largest number of participants.
The concept WORLD NETWORK™ is starting its development on the 9th May at 2PM when a 292 meters long and 5 meters wide net made of rope and canvas, painted with four peace messages, will be spread out across the whole Stradun street in Dubrovnik. Eleven elementary schools from Zagreb and Dubrovnik are involved in the painting and creation of World Network on Stradun – Message of Peace™, and the entire event will be photographed from an airplane while gathering some of the highly recognised Croatian artists.
Supervisors of VISIA DUBROVNIK 5D MUSEUM whose slogan is „Have fun, expand your knowledge and leave a trace“ are Mr Branko Lustig and Ivica Propadalo, while the whole programme is being held under the auspices of the mayor of Dubrovnik, Mr Andro Vlahusic.
This worldly unique programme was developed by the creative team of Visia Centrum's company lead Mr Marin Anicic, project manager who also created the music, the script of the programme and the WORLD NETWORK™ concept; together with Mr Zvonimir Miksic, director of the first Croatian 3D movie SMASH. Entirely financed from Croatian capital, this project represents a real example of innovative usage of Croatian potential.
